September 16-21, 2019 Eagle Eye
Fun Fact...Did you know that Monday, September 16th is National Mayflower Day! On this day, 399 years ago, 102 brave souls set sail from Plymouth, England for the New World, putting into motion the beginnings of our great country. Apt timing to remember this day as our secondary students write VFW essays on "What Makes America Great."
For more calendar events, check out the attached Eagle Eye for a quick overview of this week’s events, sporting competition and Friday Feast.
Our next round of Friday Feast flyers for Chick-fil-A were sent home last week. Orders are due Monday, September 16th. Please have your student turn their flyer, with payment attached, in to their homeroom teacher. Additional flyers can be found in the school office and attached here.
Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Volleyball team for going 5-1 at the East/West Volleyball Classic in North Powder on the eastern side of the state this last weekend. The only match they lost in the two days of game play was to the 1st ranked team in the state, but not without taking a set from them first. Great Job Lady Eagles!!
