With so many things to keep track of each week, stay up to date with the weekly Eagle Eye so you don’t miss out on anything important!
Parents, Safety is of high priority to us at DCS. It has come to our attention that following the afternoon pickup there are students being left on the playground unattended by an adult. If you take your student to the playground at any time outside of school hours, they MUST be accompanied by an adult. Additionally, students may not “hang out” on campus after school without prearranged adult supervision. For instance, a sibling of a student who is involved in any after-school activity (drama, choir, sports, etc,) must have prearranged adult supervision and that student must remain with that adult to be able to stay on campus during their siblings’ activities. If students are found on campus without adult supervision outside of school hours, they will be taken to the school office and fees may be assessed.
If you hadn’t already heard, our After-School Care program is up and running from 3:00-5:00 PM each day after school. To sign up for and begin using after-school care, please complete the After-School Care Contract and either email it to dcs@damascuscc.org or turn it into the school office.
Attention secondary students and parents! Grade Checks and Eligibility will start this Wednesday. An email went out previously regarding DCS eligibility rules. If you have any questions, please contact Gretchen Lorenzen at gretloren@damascuscc.org

The annual DCC/DCS Harvest Festival is coming up on Thursday, October 31st, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. This carnival-style festival provides hundreds of kids in our community with a fun and safe alternative to Halloween's trick-or-treating. The Harvest Festival houses over thirty games and booths, distributes thousands of pieces of candy, and welcomes many children who will experience the love of Christ through volunteers' joy and service. It is our largest outreach to children in our community! So, plan to bring your whole family and enjoy a fun-filled night!
To put on such an event...
We need volunteers to man the booths and food court. Volunteers will be showing God’s love and grace to all those in attendance.
We need to collect door prizes to raffle off during the event.
We need candy! This event would be nothing without the candy. Please donate bags of individually wrapped candy in the church foyer. Gently used toys can also be donated for the Toy Shoppe booth.
If you would like to contribute a small gift certificate from your business or would like to offer your services in manning a booth, please contact Zach and Rachel Davidson (503-290-9393). See you there!
