This week brings the end of the 2nd quarter for elementary students and 1st semester for secondary students. This also marks the halfway point of the school year! Please be checking in with your students and on RenWeb for grade updates and to encourage them to finish the term strong! Friday is scheduled to be a half day. Please be aware of the early release times listed in the Eagle Eye. Speaking of…here is this week’s edition of the Eagle Eye for all the latest and greatest.
Another important occurrence this week is the kickoff of Re-Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year! You will receive an instructional email tomorrow, Monday, with everything you need in order to complete your students’ re-enrollment. You have until Friday, January 24 to secure your student’s spot for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are unsure of your plans for this next school year and decide to re-enroll to save your student’s spot for the time being, please be aware of the financial policy and the financial commitment you are making with the completion of re-enrollment. If you have questions or are experiencing any issues with re-enrollment, please contact Heidi Hale in the school office.

Mark your calendars, if you have new students you would like to enroll, applications will become available on Monday, January 20th! When that time comes, you will go to your FACTS Family Portal under the Apply/Enroll tab on the left-hand side of the screen and select Application to begin. While we anticipate open spots in most of our grades for the 25/26 school year, we also anticipate those spots filling quickly. Last year our Pre-K class alone was filled with a wait list on the day applications opened. So, don’t delay in submitting an application if you want to secure a spot!
Open Staff Positions – DCS is in immediate need of filling a couple positions and are taking applications for open positions. If you or someone you know is interested, please email dcs@damascuscc.org. Open positions include long-term substitute for Spanish and Assistant Track & Field Coaches.
The 2nd Annual Building on Faith Auction is set for Saturday, March 15! This year’s theme is “Under the Big Top”, promising a night of fun, fellowship, and fundraising. We are seeking table hosts to invite friends and family, donations of items or experiences for the auction, and volunteers to help make this event a success. Mark your calendars and join us.
