With the start of the 3rd quarter, elementary basketball gets underway, while varsity boys basketball continues to work their way through the regular season. Auditions are done and cast parts have been announced for the Spring production of Shrek the Musical! Check out all the upcoming happenings in the weekly edition of the Eagle Eye.

New student applications will become available tomorrow, Monday, January 20th! If you have a new student to enroll, you will go to your FACTS Family Portal under the Apply/Enroll tab on the left-hand side of the screen and select Application to begin. Don’t delay as we anticipate open spots filling quickly.

Only 5 days left to re-enroll your DCS students and secure a spot for the 2025-2026 school year. Please contact Heidi Hale if you have any questions regarding re-enrollment. 

Attention Secondary Students – The add/drop period will be open from Tuesday, January 21st – Friday, January 31st. If students would like to request a class change, they can submit an add/drop request to Heidi Hale in the school office for consideration during the add/drop period.  Additionally, if your student is bringing their own device to school, it is important for them to remember to fully charge their device each evening.

DCS is excited to announce that we are offering FREE Speech & Language Screenings again this year! The screenings will be held on Wednesday, January 29th! Check out the flier for details as well as the QR code to sign up by January 27th.

Our first semester partnering with My Hot Lunchbox was successful! If you have not tried it, now is a good time to set up your family account and start ordering. If you used the program and had recurring orders prior to the break, please be advised that you will need to resubmit for recurring orders. 

The 2nd Annual Building on Faith Auction is set for Saturday, March 15! This year’s theme is “Under the Big Top”, promising a night of fun, fellowship, and fundraising. We are seeking table hosts to invite friends and family, donations of items or experiences for the auction, and volunteers to help make this event a success. Mark your calendars and join us.
