The deadline to submit an application for the Keaton Coffey Memorial Scholarship is this Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
The Keaton Coffey Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2013 to honor the ultimate sacrifice Corporal Keaton Coffey gave in the service of his country while serving in Afghanistan as a military working dog handler. Keaton Coffey was a graduate of DCS who was actively engaged in serving and leading during his 13 years at DCS. This scholarship is intended for those students that understand and agree with the concept of sacrifice and service. It is for students in good standing, that are focused on a future career in a service-oriented area like first responders, military or missions-oriented non-profit. Applicants that have a heart for service in either their community, church or school are also considered. If your student fits into any of these categories, please have them complete an application.
To apply for this service-oriented scholarship, students entering 7-12th grades can fill out the application and return to Kristie.Herdener@DamascusCC.org by April 15.
