After six months of silent hallways and empty classrooms, it was a blessing to have students back in the building, even if it was only for a couple of hours each day.  We continue to appreciate your patience as we fine tune this new normal.  Drop off / pick up, schedules, Wi-Fi and cleaning are just a few areas in which we made adjustments and improvements over the past week.

ELD status: We are awaiting approval to provide emergency childcare for students up to age 12 during traditional school hours.  As soon as we receive approval, we will inform you.

Secondary Time change: To help our families who have both secondary and elementary students, we will start our afternoon onsite session for our 4th – 12th grade students at 1:15 PM and conclude at 3:15 PM.  We hope this eliminates delays in the pick-up line.

Kindergarten - 3rd Grade back on Campus from 9:30 AM – 3:15 PM starting Monday, September 28th:  Our county qualified and received confirmation that we can welcome Kindergarten – 3rd grade back on campus full day.  K – 3rd Grade teachers with students who cannot attend will work out a Zoom schedule with those students.

Masks, Hand Sanitizer and Social Distancing Reminders: Our students and staff did a good job at following the required protocols.  Some schools in our county have been investigated or even confronted by the Department of Education and OSHA.  We will continue to strive to improve in these areas so as to meet the requirements for having students on campus.

Update School Calendars: With the wildfires delaying our start to the school year, we moved our first quarter end date back a week and cancelled several of our teacher in-service days to redeem lost instructional days.
