First of all, Thank you DCS families!  We got off to a great start for the school year!  Your support and encouragement was appreciated.   Continue to pray for our school year as we seek to disciple your students through the vehicle of education.

School Pictures – This Tuesday, 9/14! Picture packets were sent home last week.  You can also go online to order your student’s picture packets.  Here is the simple 3-step process:

1. Go to mylifetouch.com

2. Enter your Picture Day ID EVTT9SR6D

3. Order your perfect package — and don’t worry about returning anything on Picture Day!

DCS 101 – If you were unable attend our DCS 101 please use this link to watch it by clicking here.

Sick Student Protocol – When your student must remain home because they are sick.  Please notify both the school office and teacher(s) first thing in the morning.  The easiest way to do this is by sending one email notification to all pertinent staff. You can find teacher email addresses on the staff page of our website.  For the office, please email jessi.veras@damascuscc.org    Additionally, as a result of various symptoms/scenarios and potentially changing protocols, we request that you call Mrs. Veras in the school office to determine when your student may return to school after being home sick.  You can reach her at 503-658-4100 or at jessi.veras@damascuscc.org

Pre-Arranged Absence Notification – As we return to our normal attendance policies this year, please remember that you are to notify teachers and the school office of any pre-arranged absences as far in advance as possible, but at a minimum of at least one week prior to the absence dates.   This includes all circumstances except for illness, such as vacations, pre-scheduled medical absences, etc.  Secondary students are required to obtain a pre-arranged absence form from the school office and have it signed off by their parents and each of their teachers prior to their absence.  Failure to do so could result in unexcused absences and missed/incomplete work.

Streaming Volleyball Games – We are happy to have sports back and no capacity limits at this time.  Masks are still required for all non-playing individuals, including spectators, in the gym.   We will also be streaming games on our NFHS platform for families and friends to watch who are unable to attend in person.

Here's how to watch:

1) Visit www.NFHSnetwork.com

2) Search for (SCHOOL NAME) and go to our page
