High School Students! Have you purchased your Spring Formal tickets yet? This year’s event is on Saturday, 4/23 at beautiful Bridge Over Clear Creek in Estacada, starting at 6:30 PM. Tickets are on sale now for the discounted price of $30/person (in Mrs. Lorenzen’s room during lunch). Pricing will increase to $35/person on Wednesday, 4/13.
Thank you to Grant Coffey and Rhonda McNally for speaking about Keaton Coffey, the Memorial Scholarship Fund (KCMF) and our Damascus Christian Education Foundation (DCEF) in our secondary chapel this last Friday. A logo contest is underway! Students have the opportunity to design new logos for both KCMF and DCEF. Logos must have 1-3 colors (including school colors). Check out the website DCEF4you.org for ideas about each of the organizations. 1st and 2nd place cash prizes will be awarded for logo designs chosen! Submit your designs to dcef2011@gmail.com by May 15th!
And don’t forget, the DCEF is still accepting scholarship applications from secondary students who have demonstrated leadership through school involvement, church involvement, community service, and/or have a desire to pursue a career in community service, the military, or as a first responder. Join us for preschool story time on Friday, April 22nd at 8:45 am (right after school drop off) or at 10:00 am in the friendship center. We will be reading a story about planting vegetables and have a fun project for your toddlers/preschoolers! We’ll also provide a snack and give you an opportunity to check out some books. Questions?
