First off…thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU for all the love, support and appreciation shown this last week to our teachers and staff! A special shout-out to Rhonda McNally and Crew for all the hard work and time put into making appreciation week so special and honoring for our teachers and staff. We are blessed to be part of such an amazing community!
Second, Happy Mother’s Day to all our DCS Moms! A job that is 24/7, 365 days of the year and often comes with unwavering dedication and sacrificial love. Many have tried to put a price tag on the job of being a mom, but in the end you all are priceless and irreplaceable!

Fine Arts Fair Week was a wonderful time to celebrate all the many talents of our students and come together as a community. Thank you to all who put in time and effort making the week such a success!
Calling all you picture taking parents…You know who you are! Our yearbook staff would love to give your student recognition in the yearbook, but they need your help. Start scrolling through your photos and send us your favorites from one or more of the following categories: First Day of School, Class/Group Pictures Taken During the School Year, Any DCS School Event, DCS Sports, Art Fair, Etc. If you have multiple students enrolled at DCS, please send pics for each child. All pictures need to be emailed in JPEG format as an attachment to maria.billings@damascuscc.org Yearbook greatly appreciates your help!
Congratulations to our Junior High track athletes that qualified in last week’s sub districts and are moving on to this week’s district meet. As both our Junior High and High School teams come to the culminating events of their season, keep track of specific meet schedules, athletes times/distances/heights and rankings in the district and around the state at athletic.net.

NEW DATE for preschool story time - Friday, May 20th at 8:45 am (right after school drop off) or at 10:00 am in the friendship center. We will be reading a story and doing a fun project with your toddlers/preschoolers! We’ll also provide a snack and give you an opportunity to check out some books. Questions?
